Being Principal of Livingstone Primary School is indeed a privilege and a pleasure. Working together with staff, parents and students to build a community where learning for the present and for the future is paramount, and in doing so making our school the best it can possibly be is my personal and professional goal. In meeting the challenge of a year in the life of a school, it is necessary to have a dedicated, informed and hard working staff team, and our team meets those requirements and more. In addition, our strong, supportive School Council understands contemporary education, supports the school’s learning and teaching programs and shares the vision for the future of our school.
We are resource rich at LPS and it is our human resource, our students and our staff, which is our greatest resource. It is always our people and their strong desire to make a difference that sets our school apart. Our motto “Linking the community through learning” could not be more apt, as we continually strive to include and encourage the participation of members of the school and wider communities in school programs.
